F.E.A.R. Patch & SDK 1.05
Sierra has released new retail patches for F.E.A.R. to bring the US and all European editions of the supernatural first-person shooter by Monolith Productions to version 1.05. This release adds two multiplayer modes, called Control and Capture All, and as usual it's accompanied by the corresponding Win32 and Linux dedicated servers and an updated public tools kit.

Ubi Soft Entertainment has released new patches for Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter to advance the retail and downloadable editions of the squad-based tactical shooter sequel by GRIN to version 1.10. This release applies several interface improvements, a handful of AGEIA updates, and over a dozen bug fixes and other changes.
Battlefield 2 1.3 Patch
Electronic Arts has released new retail patches and servers for Battlefield 2, upgrading 3D multiplayer action game by Digital Illusions to version 1.3. You can update from the previous v1.22 or any older version, and this release adds airdropped vehicles, a single-player co-op mode, a default kit selection feature, and more than two dozen gameplay tweaks, bug and crash fixes, and other improvements.

Armed Assault at E3 2006
Armed Assault looks and feels like OFP. It should, since the title's is built from an upgraded and improved version of the same game engine. In fact, Armed Assault is essentially a public entertainment-ized version of the "Virtual Battle Space 2" military tactical simulator currently in use by the USMC and Australian Army, among others.
