3000 AD has released the full game of Battlecruiser Millennium, superseding the earlier demos of their space combat simulation that came out in 2001. The game has now been released as freeware, allowing to explore the entire game world and all missions.

Therefore, you're depended on making money by not killing yourself or making enemies. Talk about a twisted a plot?

There's a lot of hype about the XBox 360 and the PS3 at the moment, but what about the games? Test Drive Unlimited is being produced for the XBox 360, and judging by these preview screenshots, could be very impressive.

Now that most of you will no doubt have played Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 to death, there's most likely a hole in your life which needs to be filled by a good, fun, high-quality first-person shooter. Enter Pariah to try and fill that void - But does it succeed?

A very brief teaser movie for Quake IV has been released, hinting at this sci-fi first-person shooter sequel being crafted at Raven Software. This clip offers a quick selection of action-packed in-engine sequences running for a mere 14 seconds.

This video shows off the new models and a bit of gameplay from STALKER, and in particular the new lighting modes of Direct X 9.1.

Ubi Soft sends along an AMD64 / WinXP Pro x64 upgrade for Far Cry along with an "exclusive content" add-on for the tropical island first-person shooter by Crytek Studios. Word on the massive downloads is: "The AMD64 upgrades of Far Cry are meant to run on the final released version of the new Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. If you are running a Beta version of this software, we cannot insure compatibility. Please note that the goal of the AMD64 upgrades is to transform the 32-bit version of the game into a 64-bit version of the game to be played on the Windows XP Pro x64 Edition OS.

For years, AMD has been talking about the positive impact that 64-bit will have on games. Honestly, we never bought it; games are still a couple of years away from breaking the 2GB process limitation under present day 32-bit Windows. Despite our lack of belief, AMD still did their best to convey the message that gamers would be given a better experience in a 64-bit environment.
