Battlefield Vietnam 1.01 Review

Battlefield Vietnam has had some mixed reviews since its release, one that I found good reading was over at GameSlave where the reviewer came straight to the point showing the games short comings but also at where the game worked well. I just noticed the article has been updated in light of the 1.01 update so I'd recommend people check it out if they have interest in the successful Battlefield series.

DOOM 3 Launch Date?

The gaming world is waiting for this title, but no one really knew when it would be released. Some people have come to prefer Doom 3 over Half-Life 2 for reasons too long to state.

Battlefield Vietnam Patch v1.01

Electronic Arts has now released the first client patch for Battlefield Vietnam, upgrading the 3D multiplayer action game by Digital Illusions to version 1.01. This release applies several server browser fixes, improves networking, tweaks some of the weapons, and makes other changes as detailed in the included Readme. It's accompanied by a corresponding Win32 dedicated server install.
