It appears that it will be Windows 9x/ME users that will get to play with the latest set of nVidia drivers first this time, as opposed to Win2k/XP users when previous 27.xx drivers have leaked.
I've been informed that 27.30 nVidia beta drivers have just appeared on-line for Windows 9x/ME only at this time. The driver is dated 19/01/2002 (19th January 2002), apart from the NVCPL.dll file in the set (the control pannel) - which comes from the 27.20 driver set. Grab the drivers over here.

Just got word from Mark @ Maxreboot that there are new ATI Radeon Drivers for the following ATI Radeon Cards 7200 / 7000 / VE / 7500 /8500 . The drivers origin is 3rd party manufacturer Sapphire.

It appears it was only a matter of time. After the 27.00, 27.10 and 27.20 drivers started appear for Windows 2000 and XP only, I was worried that Wndows 9x/ME drivers of the 27.xx series wouldn't appear untill official release from NVIDIA sometime in February. I'm glad I was wrong!
Today, 27.20 nVidia detonator driver for Windows 9x and ME has finally appeared. The driver is dated 01/15/2002 (15th January 2002) and seems to perform better then the 23.11 driver in OpenGL and Direct3D. Expect increase in image quality as well.
However, may I remind you that this driver is unofficial and beta and in no way supported by NVIDIA! Install only at your own risk!

Ok folks it seems a new driver set is here. MadOnion reports these were grabbed from MSI. Originally appeared on n3dt.com this site is unreachable at the moment. But Mark Fox from MaxReboot was kind enough sending the file for a local download. Files are dated January 15th 2002. nvoglnt.dll is dated: Jan 21, 2001 nvclock.dll is dated: Jan 25, 2001 No words on performance yet.

Version 4 of Microsoft WindowsUpdate used to update Windows XP is offering various new Detonator driver sets for the OS... Read on... Update: Looks like Activewin was wrong informed. It appears that the new drivers are GeForce4 specific. Sounds kinda weird cause Nvidia runs a unified driver policy but one never knows. Thanks to our man SUPR3M3 for the information.
