I see this was only visible for NForce 4, would there be any point in installing it with NForce3 mobos?

what about the nforce 2 boards? anyone try them on that yet?

nForce drivers are unified
they SHOULD work without a glitch

nope...i have an nf7-s v2 board and they didnt work completely. i made a moddified/remix version if someone wants to test them. i added in an older version of the ethernet driver, along with the gart and memory controller drivers. both of which are not included in this new version. if someone wants to try them let me know. just something i whipped up real quick. umm...i should probably ask if i can do this or not? don't want to get into any troubles if ya know what i mean. the specs are below...
Audio driver version 4.60 (WHQL)
Audio utility version 4.51
Ethernet NRM driver version 4.59 (WHQL) with 4.62 nvtcp.sys
Network management tools version 4.62
GART driver version 4.40
Memory controller driver version 4.40
SMBus driver version 4.45 (WHQL) with updated uninstaller files
Installer version 4.60
Win2K IDE driver version 5.07 (WHQL)
WinXP IDE driver version 5.07 (WHQL)

so, this is the setup for 6.39
and that is for 6.37
both are WHQL and almost the same size about 57.2 MB
???

But if they are "unified" why then is the 6.x only available for nForce4? It says "Windows XP - nForce4 Standalone Kit (6.39)" and if you choose the unified package you get the 5.x driver suit.

This is why I originally asked, presumably the clue is in the word 'Standalone', as opposed to 'Unified'
I guess this is the only driver components they have working for NForce4, and I wouldn't guarantee tht any of them have been 'Unified' for NF3/2 etc.

öhhmmmm
ok, there are no folders about GART
i thought the size the same, the folders the same
the easiest things are the hardest to find :-)
but ok
now the question, why are there no Gart and MemCtrl driver?

....
because the offical version is 5.10
and you are downloading some beta stuff which does noit need to be perfect ...
this is not the first driver that miss something or got something old inside ...
wait for final ...

the moddified set i've been playing with works pretty good on my nf7-s v2 board i got, so far no issues. my message is posted above. although there are some different ethernet drivers i'm using than what i posted.

nforce 4 chipset has no MemCtrl Because it's on the A64CPU
therefore no memory control driver is needed.
I can't rememeber what GART is.
So it looks like it's 'Unified' for the nforce 4 only
...can you really call something 'Unified' if it's only got drivers for 2 chipsets? (nf4 and nf4-SLI)

GART is the AGP bridge driver
and again the driver IS unified ... but this are beta or unoffical releases so they can't be seen as the new generation of drivers ... they are just for testing and if they are for NF4 testing its sure they take out unneeded parts ... wait for a homepage refresh
