I went from 8,200 to 14,000 lol yea I WAS an Nvidia lover, but you cant deny that ATI is just the better card and its stupid to buy anything else. Oh and just to explain the "value" of the 9600xt...first I bought it for 160.00 at cost at CompUSA (cause i work there ) and i sold my old card for 100.00 and it also comes with half life 2 a 50 dollar value that i was gonna buy anyway when it comes out....so basically i got all these perfomance gains from a card I paid 10 dollars for out of my own pocket WOW!!!

Well technically since you also paid for the other card no, but I see what you mean, and nice one

I paid €475 for this card (9700 Pro) over a year ago and its still going strong, just a small way behind the 9800 Pro. I lub this card :)

yep.....
the best card at this time comes from ATI
no way for NVidia

but maybe next generations maybe NVidia strikes back

i´m also a new ATI´ler
i changed from a MSI Ti4800se to a Powercolor 9800pro
this ATI costs me "only" 203€......
the only prob are the drivers
if i reinstall the os i hope the probs will go away

but i have to say, my Ti was the best till now i ever bought
the power is great enough for all games till Far Cry
i could play everything with max details
but without any AA and AF
and the NV Drivers.....great, never had any probs with that

so, if ATI makes their drivers better than they will have the best u can get today

and if anyone want´s to buy a new Power Card,
go for ATI

The Geforce FX 5900XT is smarter choice because it is about the same price compare with 9600 xt but much faster then 9600xt.

i am using the Radeon 9600 pro, i have to admit it. I love this card (for what i have paid).

ok ok

i think we should stop with that

i mean with "ATI Driver Sucks"
me and Mertsch are not happy with that, and maybe we are not the only
and KK don´t need to answer all the time, that they are great

ever PC handles the Driver another way, sometimes good, sometimes bad

so, lets stop with that
now everybody knows that :-)
Thanx

ok, i/we hope u will have a good time here

so, the reason we are so "fast", the most time there are registered user online with a big knowledge like Mertsch (the best guy ever) and some others

so we also check this page as often we can because of the news/Stuff/infos

so, i registered on 1.Feb and from this time....
huh, my life changed :-)

and if u want a good time here, read the Forum-Rules and stay on-topic and if not , post it to "off-topic"

maybe sometime we all go off-topic in a thread, but if it´s not toooo extreme.... *smile*

Try comparing the 9600XT to a geforce 5700 ultra,
there properly matched.
