XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE Review
On our review bench today is the XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE (Golden Rabbit Edition) targeting 1440p gaming. Based on AMD's RDNA 3 architecture, it features 5120 stream processors and 16GB GDDR6 memory akin to the older RX 6900 XT. We test it against NVIDIA's competing RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Super cards in our latest review.
The XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE is an affordable option for what I would call high-end 1440p gaming, and it is nice to see gamers getting more options that are capable at lower prices again. 4K gaming is on the table, as long as you don’t expect to set every setting to maximum while still having great framerates. If you adjust some of the settings, high quality 4K gameplay is entirely possible.
