At a time when most of the major players in digital leisure are moving towards convergent solutions, Sony has launched the PSP, a portable multimedia console that couldn't be more proprietary. Beautiful to look at and stuffed with the latest technology, it's undeniably attractive - which only makes its flaws and limitations all the more infuriating.
