Sony Catalyst Browse gives you a robust clip management tool designed to replace Content Browser and RAW Viewer. It's a part of Sony's new family of media preparation products that work across different platforms. Although many new features have been added, none are replicated.
Multi-Functional
Sony Catalyst Browse displays videos and images with thumbnails so you can easily find the one you want to process. It also allows you to drag 'n drop files between your computer and any connected devices to transfer them from one location to another. Alternatively, you can use the Fast Copy function to grab the desired data quickly from the media storage.
Media Transfers
If you often transfer media files between devices, Sony Catalyst Browse will be a helpful asset. It not only provides you with a quick and easy method to move media files, but you can also check their metadata. Furthermore, the tool allows you to edit and repair metadata or flash band problems resulting from the wrong flash tool.
Detailed Clip Viewing
Moreover, the tool allows you to view the details of each clip, such as focus, marking, and outpoint, and adjust the colors. You can preview videos and photos in a full-color range specific to some Sony digital camera models to enhance the color palette. You can make various corrections before exporting the new file to a standard ASC-CDL format.
