Faugus Launcher 2.5.0 Released: Navigation Sounds and Lighter Dependencies

Faugus Launcher 2.5.0 shipped on October 15, 2026, packing a batch of quality-of-life tweaks rather than any game-changing features. The headline additions are interface navigation sounds, an option to strip out cover art and banners, and a Proton Manager that now tracks the "Latest" builds. Under the hood, it reworks Prevent Sleep for broader system support, sheds its python-dbus dependency, and adds an Ubuntu 26.10 PPA build alongside a pile of bug fixes. The Linux game launcher keeps churning out monthly releases in a market already crowded by Lutris, Heroic, and Bottles.
