Canvas Blocker (Fingerprint Protect) for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge manipulates two methods of HTML5 Canvas element that are commonly used to generate a unique fingerprint key for your browser.

Canvas Blocker is directed to prevent the HTML canvas element from generating a unique identification key in more simple terms. By preventing this, it protects your privacy. This extension/add-on slightly skews the actual image data when these methods are called to prevent websites from generating this unique key. So if a suspicious method is called, Canvas Blocker will notify you by displaying a desktop notification. Note that this extension uses a non-persistent background page. This is intended not to lower the user browsing experience while not in use.

Canvas Blocker uses a faster, more optimized code to prevent fingerprints from the Canvas element compared to other similar extensions/add-ons. Canvas Blocker doesn't block the canvas element entirely; It only modifies two methods to prevent the JS engine from generating a unique identification key from this element. The canvas element may be used for other purposes besides user tracking.

Canvas Blocker will be a useful privacy asset while browsing with the listed browsers, allowing you to completely or selectively block the Canvas element.
