Existing users can update their systems using the pacman -Syu command, eliminating the need for a reinstallation. The installation process remains similar, but users can now utilize the archinstall command in the live environment for fresh installations. Additionally, the image can be easily written to a USB stick using the dd command to ensure a successful installation

The latest release of Arch Linux, version 2026.03.01, is now available for download as a 1.4 GB ISO image.
