ChrisDKN has released v2.4.0 of Amethyst Mod Manager, a Linux-native tool that now covers roughly 97 PC titles without forcing users through Wine or Proton compatibility layers. The update introduces a fully rewritten Rust-accelerated conflict detection engine, a VFS deployment method that sidesteps same-partition hardlink restrictions, and fresh installers for GOG's Fallout: New California. By storing Nexus OAuth tokens directly in the OS keyring and bundling a built-in Thunderstore browser, the project finally eliminates the performance lag and reliability bugs that have plagued Vortex and Mod Organizer 2 on Linux for years. Available via AppImage, Flatpak, and the AUR.
