Yes, this is bad news indeed, and to think I had planned to get a new audigy 4. gg's creative, you will never tell me wtf I can or can't play on my machine.

What does DRM actually do?

DRM is the beginning of the end, the media you play on your pc has to pass the digital rights authentication or else it wont play. Basically your rights are being violated, the stepping stone for paladium and subscription based versions of windows where you pay a monthly fee to run windows. The consumers are being screwed over because game makers, software pioneers and musicians are putting out worthless garbage that isn't worth a fraction of the price they want for their garbage, many people want to "try before you buy" and I don't blame them, especially after I recently shelled out cash for Star Wars battlefront and Doom3, I should have tried before I bought the games. Do not support the pc czars by buying their products, stay away from creative and anyone else who tries the DRM thing, learn linux now because the day is soon coming where you will either have to give in to the nazis or rebel against them.

Alrighty then, I wont be installing that piece of crap.
