I noticed this as well, they ripped a lot of news that i wrote myself and wasn't happy to see the text on there site without saying thanks. I talked to Degger and other WebMasters about this for several times, the WebMasters noticed this as well. They were not happy about this. And some are friends with the WebMasters of the site and they noticed them, but they did nothing. Dear FileConnect, I have written enough mails to you about this issues and I asked you serveral times to be fair. But you did not. That´s the reason why I have posted it here on Warp2Search. Sure, you can forget the source sometines, we are only human and this can happen.Or we get a submission via email and we don´t know the source. But in this agressive style you do this this is unfair to all webmasters out there.
It´s absolute sad, when your are searching for news all the days, surfing on ftp server, on korean websites with google on you site to find an interesting story, you post it and five minutes later it s on fileconnect with your own words, only a bit changed.
Put the same time in your site like all the others do, like Peter (Rancho) or Bob (NewsFactory).
It´s not only the piont of stealing news, it s stealing time and creativity of the person who has published the storie originally.
The main problem is, you put a lot of time and energie in posting news, reports articles and all this kind of informations, you need a lot of time to post this and five minutes later you find you stories without any credit on another site.
That s real sad and annoying against the site and of course the editor who has written this storie. We all do this for free in our free time, put a lot of money in server costs and bandwith and than some guys are comming and destroying your work with stealing it.
It s a unwritten law in the web that you can use the stories or snipped of stories from other site when you post his name in it so that he get the credit. I don´t wanna talk about legal actions with making copyright infrigments, that s useless. I have written it beacuse last time I spoke to the guys they told me if something like this (post this problem officialy) they want to start some actions (war in their words) against us. And that s the point why I gave it to my lawyer.
Dear Fileconnect, First of all you don't tell the visitors about the fact we have already talked about this over phone and icq/msn. we have discussed this issue and we solved it together. I thought so too but I could not see any result on your site. You made the same think like before. I have written serveral mails to you and you do not reacted. Why I post it official ? In my opinion it s enough with the way you go, because I get so much mails and informations about this from visitors. I this posting "Thx to this submission" is only a lie to hide the origin source. And next to this we are not copying content when it's coming directly from the creators! I have recored a lot of other thinks with hidden typos we made exactly for you. Third is that I think it's lame to post something like this on your frontpage! next to that also that you also dont tell the visitors you screwed our team in the past huh degger? But i'm not that lame to tell them how! I have written enough emails to you and I talked enough to viper and adek but nothing happend. That i post it here, is to declare the ppl out here what happens all the time behind their necks. We and also a lot of other webmasters putting a lot of time in our site with searching news and post them. And you come, steal and destroy. I also recieved a lot of mails from NewsFactory about this. Oh, btw and also why you tried to get NF on your site with talking to him that he will get a lot of stuff for his computer ? lol
