not too long ago, didnt ati knock nvidia for releasing the GF4 and calling it GF3.5 now they are doing the same thing rv200...now in the new rv2.5 verion LOL hippocrites

ATI isn't designating a new architecture. The first 8 in 8800 is the Direct X generation. The next gen ATI products wil be 9xxx. The release can be compared to a GF 3 Ti400 vs Ti200.

i know they arent designing a new architecture, but that is what they knocked nvidia for doing..releasing acard that is in essence a revved up version of an existing card the gf3>gf4, now they are doing the same thing rv200>250
