I just ordered a Func 1030 two days ago. :roll:

You will be very happy with the func pad.. Plus other than the shape, they look identical to me. Surfaces look the same, but func doesnt have the metal strip on the outside.. :)

I wrote that before reading the review, and had I read the review first I still would have bought the Func 1030. I've used a Ratpad for 6 years now, I thought it was time to just give something else a try....besides I picked up a new MX510 and the cord doesn't quite lay right for me, I chose the Func mainly for its excellent reviews and the mousecord clip. ;)
