yo,... you said that Windows keeps installing the 44.03's on you upon reboot? try getting the detonator removal (you can find it at www.guru3d.com) remove the NVIDIA shit off your computer then run it,... and then you shouldn't have to worry about XP re-installing the drivers upon reboot... give that a try,...

Good drivers, best so far on my machine, Best of all these completly X out my loud arse blower fan from spining to full speed on my Fx 5800, as the card seems to run cooler with this version... 44.03's card ran at about 68c under a real heavy load (think 1920*1440 8x aa 8xani codecreatures bench), now its down to 57c.... card still idles at 39-40c. Temp sensor in the driver panel is alot more responsive too with this ver.
