My Windows Vista Beta 2 Reliability Experience

I had it on my computer for three days but it just isn't ready for prime time yet. My problems seemed centered around my X-Fi soundcard -- blue screens and the fact that Creative simply did not have a set of drivers that were even remotely acceptable. The other interesting issue was one where the keyboard would lose it's connection on reboots. To fix it, all I had to do was swap USB slots with the kb and the mouse, but it was just a nuisance. But I knew this was a beta. I'd hoped to be able to use it, but I wasn't exactly shocked when I could not. And I learned from my short time with Vista that when they get it right, it's going to be a vastly superior operating system than XP. They got a lot of hopefully useful error reports from me and I got a tantalizing preview of things to come. I believe that was win-win.
