Go to tools menu and check ur contacts are sorted by online/offline, sorted by groups causes all contacts to dissapear

I found what could be considered a major bug in it, but the left side scroll bar for old messages sometime decide not to work. But like you threatlockz, I decided to wait for the final one which if I remember correct will be released around the same time Windows XP is.
