finally MS makes some parts non-IE compatible ... for IE its an activeX and for FF e.g. you can download a little tool doing the job for you ... btw The Windows validation process has determined that you are running genuine Microsoft Windows. Please click Download to get the download. at least for me itsd working

with internet explorer the check works without doing anything else then say yes I authorize for other browser it was not possible to do this since there is no activeX support now you can downlaod a tool generating a number then enter number into page and go for download ...

I currently "know someone else" who is running a pirated version of Windows XP, and have just done the validatio process, and PASSED as being geniune, so I guess the pirates are still chuckling to themselves. This only solves the issue of the widely used SERIAL NUMBERS used to install XP, that Windows know about. They have already introduced this Validation process in Service Pack 1a and Service Pack 2. If you have one of the well known serial numbers, then the software won't install, so all you do is generate another serial, and it WILL install. All Microsoft have done is broaden the validation process to a lot more of their software, but there are still ways around it. Don't use the widely known serials.
