IE7 Isn't Good Enough

Interesting read. Not sure I'd reach some of the opinions in the same way though. & I do actually think IE 7 will do decently at getting users to switch back; if only the UI wasn't done the way it is.

I may not switch from Firefox back to IE, but its nice to know they are giving the basic Windows user a better browser yo use compared to IE6.

I doubt I will switch back unless MS proves they can do something as good and faster/better. FF is my favorite browsers of them all. Yes, it has its flaws like the long loading time or some other minor UI bugs or extension problems. But the features are the most complete Ive ever seen and I am an perfectionist. Even if you dont like something, you can most likely just get a extension that fixes that. Plus I like to have a browser that not many people use since it is much more secure just because of that, even if it is as bugged as MSIE.

That's hilarious. Perhaps it was reasonably accurate back upon original release but IE 6 is woefully inadequate in many regards now & has been for some time.

It may be faster, but its not better overall. At all.

IE is the default browser and works as intended. No fuzz, no hassle. Arguments regarding stability and security have been tried for ten, twenty years, but nothing changes the fact that when it comes to compatibility and comfort, nothing competes with mainstream.
