I woke up late and didn't activate it until 2 hours after it was unlocked, but it was smooth sailing from there. Faboo game, it's living up to my expectations so far.

imho, valve are one company that dont need to make a demo of their games, it would spoil it. They havent made a dud yet , and if u need a demo of hl2 then u may as well go back to sleep. WHERE WERE YOU.

hey look, theres a shit ton of demos out there. RELAX. If u cant see the point of buying hl2 before playing a "demo" then maybe you cant graso the concept of the game. I mean, if u play one level or another its going to spoil the whole experience. The game plays just like the videos released earlier. ....cmon man

i wont get to play hl2 for quite sometime, but, i did get Vampire Bloodlines, and its using the HL2 engine... man this game is friggin sweet so far, and i'm barely past the training missions lol. i hope half life 2 will be as good for me, but, honestly judging from the screens and stuff i've seen.. i'm bound to enjoy Vampire Bloodlines more:) still gonna give HL2 a spin though one of these days:)

naw graphics wise its hard to compare... Although HL2 wins by far for me because of its large environments, Doom 3 is like 30fps, in some small corridoor :( HL2 is so much more fun to play though, doom 3 I got bored of shooting the same zombies over and over...
