I agree with the top poster, after getting an expensive Live! and putting up with creative's bulls**t excuses for problems and possibly the slowest driver release schedule in the world I threw it out, got a cirrus logic based card and haven't looked back.

Mine does not, I have stuttering problems & skipping problems with mp3's, I have tried everything even turning hypertreading off and it does not solve the problem. I am tired of being a freakin beta tester. I am done with creative products.

I have the P4T533 and there is no beta bios for it , it seems you were better at picking a motherboard than me. But I wanted the 32bit RDRAM, see what that got me. : ( So my only option is to shit can the Audigy2 and use the onboard audio which does not have treble or bass adjustments. Take care.

Well I disabled HT in the bios and unistalled it in XP, rebooted and rebooted again, the MP# skipping was still there, so I Reneabled the bios HT and rolled back the HT driver ACPI Multiprocessor and rebooted 2 times and now no skipping problems. This is weird. So I am going to turn the direct sound back on in winamp and see what happens. Will reply later.
