the games crap anyway. "tactical" isnt very tactical when the only tactics is flanking. the first medal of honour is still the best war game.

The whole real-world warfare FPS genre is over-bloody-flooded right now; it doesn't matter if this game is the queen's bloody tits of WWII FPS shooters, we're all pretty sick of WWII FPS shooters! Let's go for a bit of originality, wouldn't that be weird?

FPS games have been in a persistent vegetative state for ages now. Look at what's considered by many to be the "cream of the crop" - Half Life 2, Doom 3. Over-rated, bad games. It would take a serious amount of work to revive the FPS genre. Hell, as it stands every FPS game out there still has "locked doors" which you'll never interact with (Regardless of whatever "amazing" physics engine a game has - you can only affect what they'll allow you affect). We need more games along the lines of Operation Flashpoint.
