Go to rage3D for more info. They are not the catalyst 3.5 drivers. The catalyst 3.5 drivers will focus on compatability and stability rather than performance, but there will be some performance increases.
They're a beta of the 3.5 set that really is a whole lot more like the 3.4 set. The 3.5 set still ain't even finalized from my understanding, they don't finalize 'em 'til the last minute anymore to make sure to get any bug fixes in from the beta testers. (And as I'm probably faxxing in an NDA to ATi today to join said beta testers this is probably the last time I'll comment on something like this...I just had to get me last speculation in before signing me name on the dotted line. ;) )
hello!,, just because the CP says 3.5 does not mean the drivers are....Nodoubt they are part of what the 3.5s will be. And Rage3d is a independent site, not a ATI site, just a ATI fan site..... u have lots of ASSumptions.
Anyway... I have confirmation from Terry Makedon that these are at least not the official Catalyst 3.5, regardless what the CP says.
