Xice EC600/H lüfterloses Wasserkühlungsset im Test

Published by [NT] 0

Pentium 4 3.2GHz Extreme Edition

Published by Newsfactory 0

Gamers Depot has a review up on Intel's latest Pentium 4 "Extreme Edition" CPU, which is clocked at 3.2GHz - they compare it to the performance of the Athlon64 FX-51 processor.

AMD released its new Athlon 64 FX-51 processor which, quite frankly, took Intel by surprise with regards to its overall performance and because they didn?t initially have anything planned to release at that time which would directly compete. As what we think of as a ?stop-gap?, the P4 EE for all intents and purpose is simply a CPU that Intel quickly put together to have something more competitive to the Athlon 64 FX-51.

Philips HDD100

Published by Newsfactory 0

TheLostSwede sends word that Trusted Reviews have thrown up their Philips HDD100 review! The first real contender to the iPOD with 15GB drive.

If there was ever a product that showcased the new Philips design ethos, this is it. The HDD100 is a stunning looking device, that will turn heads whenever you take it out of its carrying pouch. In fact almost every time I took the HDD100 out of my pocket on a train or a plane, someone would ask me what it was and where I got it from. Put simply the HDD100 is a hard disk based Walkman in much the same mould as the Apple iPod. In fact it?s pretty obvious that Philips is going after the Apple iPod market with the HDD100.

Sapphire 9800Pro Atlantis

Just got word that DataFuse.net have thrown up their Sapphire 9800Pro Atlantis 128mb DDR graphics card review.

I took the time to review this piece of hardware because the arrival of the XT-version will make these extremly fine products drop in price. Although the original 9800Pro codenamed R350 was introduced almost 6 months ago, it's still one of the best graphics cards out there. ATI recently introduced a newer version named the 9800 XT.

Athlon64 VIA K8T800 vs. nForce3 150

Published by Newsfactory 0

Hexus.net have posted their AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Clawhammer review which compares VIA's K8T800 against Nvidia's nForce3 150 chipset! Here's a rip.

The AMD Athlon 64 FX-51, a CPU that's essentially a rebadged Opteron running at 2.2GHz, is currently gaining a number of plaudits from the reviewing media. 2.2GHz clock speed doesn't sound like an awful lot in a world where Intel's fastest consumer-level CPU has already hit 3.2GHz and shows no signs of abating, but it's not how big your clock is, it's how you use it. Performance, AMD will not tire of telling you, is the sum of pure MHz and the number of instructions completed per clock cycle. AMD's True Performance Initiative seeks to educate the consumer in just this respect.

Logitech Z-680 THX 5.1 Speakers

Published by Newsfactory 0

BiT-Tech have thrown up their review of Logitech's Z-680 THX 5.1 Speakers! Here's a snip.

PC-Audio has always been flirting with challenging or, dare I say it, replacing traditional dedicated audio products. Most attempts have been good but nothing worth making you look at your hi-fi like a red-headed stepchild asking what has it done for you lately.

The ICY DOCK Bodyguard525 is not only worthy of one of your 5 1/4" bays ? it actually deserves one. It is aesthetically pleasing, sleek, stylish, and fits in many different case designs.

I'm sure that the vast majority of tech-savvy web users have been impressed with AMD's new line of CPUs. A number of core enhancements brought about meaningful gains in performance and efficiency, so much so that one had to call the AMD Athlon 64 FX-51 the fastest consumer-level CPU going. Computing, in a way, is all about future-proofing. The informed user always looks to extend the longevity of any purchase by evaluating current technologies and choosing the one that a) offers the best price-to-performance ratio and b) the product that offers future compatibility.

Coolermaster Jet7 @ Datafuse.net

Published by Newsfactory 0

The performance was what I expected, good, but not the best. Besides the fact that the freakin' blinking light drove me crazy, I was pretty fond of the product. The looks were fine to me, coolermaster tried something totally different and I think they got away with it. Installation went easily, and the ability to set your fan is always a good thing.

Gainward CoolFX 5900 Ultra Im Test

Published by [NT] 0
