Published by Newsfactory 0

When I get an email from Aerocool about a new product, it's usually something exciting. This time around was no different. Seeing the specs on this monster of a Power Suppply Unit from Aerocool I was thrilled about getting this product in for review. A 620 Watt Power Supply that is silent, what a perfect compliment to my recently completed water cooling system! A few days later the Aerocool Zerodba was delivered and it was time to put her to the test.

Silverstone TJ08 mATX Case

I don?t think that there is anything anyone can say negative about Silverstone. The class and styling that they put into their cases reign over most others. From the first case in the Temjin family, the TJ01, to the latest, the TJ07 all are great pieces of art. Just recently Silverstone has added a new member to the family, the TJ08. The TJ08 promises to provide big things in a small case.

Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard Review at 3DXtreme

Published by [NT] 0

I didn't write this review in the same week I received this unit for review and sometimes that is the best thing that can happen. It wasn't till about 2 weeks later that I learned about all the applets being created for the G15. Even Unreal Tournament 2004 has updated to a new patch, available on Logitech's website, that adds G15 support by displaying ammo information. I would imagine we will see more game developers adding support through the game to display useful information to the G15's LCD. The G15 is in high demand and last I saw it was sold it at most retailers. If you can swing it the G15 is a quality keyboard with some added features that will keep it on your desk for years to come.

Freecom DVB-T USB Stick review

Published by Newsfactory 0

DV Hardware takes a look at the Freecom DVB-T USB Stick:

Freecom's Digital TV DVB-T is a terrestrial receiver & radio input adapter stick for PC's. It is about the same size as a USB memory pen, making it the world's smallest digital TV and radio receiver, allowing access to digital TV and radio programs anywhere, subject to reception, topography, objects, weather and Freeview coverage. However most of these restrictions are resolved by simply connecting an indoor TV aerial into the adapter between the aerial cable and the stick itself.

Spire VertiCool II & DiamondCool II Review

Published by Newsfactory 0

OCIA.net takes a look at the Spire VertiCool II & DiamondCool II in their latest review.

As I noted before, the DiamondCool is constructed primarily of copper. It has 55 micro (0.40mm) fins soldered to a very thick base (8.5mm). It uses four copper heat pipes to help draw the heat away from the base and transfer it to the copper fins above. In theory this should work very well, but the proof is in the testing.
