Our friends at HKEPC has done an interesting review on the ULi M1695 with TGi (Triple Graphics Interface); simultaneous PCI Express x16, AGP 8X, PCI graphics interfaces that allows up to 6 monitor displays. Along with a PCI-E x16 riser card that splits into two x8 slots, you are able to run SLI and Crossfire configurations. More interestingly, with a hacked Catalyst drivers, they are able to run Crossfire in AGP + PCI-E interfaces.

NVIDIA's GeForce 6800 Ultra GPU has been usurped by the 7800 GTX as the fastest graphics card in town. Various benchmarks show the latter to be up to twice as fast in both single and SLI'd usage. However, the GeForce 6800 Ultra recently shipped with 512MB of onboard memory. Recent history has taught us that larger framebuffers tend to adopted every 2-3 years, just when games' assets begin to stretch incumbent framebuffers to the limit.

Last year we had the opportunity to review an LCD display product from Crystalfontz which opened the door to looking a some specialty modding items. We found that the user can display a number of things from just plain audio information of a song they are listening to, to critical system information such at temperatures and voltages. Now we have received a similar product from Matrix Orbital, but instead of being LCD based it is PLED based and promises to be just as good if not better than the Crystalfontz display we looked at before. "Thankfully, this keyboard comes equipped with an on/off switch for the EL function. I have seen other keyboards which remain lit constantly. This does nothing but decrease the lifetime of the lighting source within. I first turned on the EL function with the overhead light still on. You could tell that the EL function was on by the faint blue haze under the keys. It was not until I turned off the overhead light that you could fully appreciate this function."
