ATI is believed to unveil its dual graphics card technology "Multi Video Processing" (MVP) at the Computex trade show later this month. There will be a GTX version in place of the regular Ultra model. Early tests yield a 3DMark'05 score of 7800. However this may change as Nvidia might change the final clock speed of the GPU and tweak it further. The card is SLI ready and an AGP version is planned using Nvidia's HSI bridge. Marketing material suggests the Nvidia going with the 7xxx naming scheme. There is no confirmation on the single slot design yet. We will have more information as we get it.

The product that has been leaked is the GeForce 7800 GTX. It is a 24 pixel pipeline design with 10 vertex shaders made on TSMC's 110 nm process. Even if ATI launches the R520 next month, Nvidia will still beat it with its two 6800 Ultra cards, so what ATI really needs is that Multi VPU. First release Multi VPU, then move to R520, that?s the current plan.
