BluesNews reports that the forums on Halflife2.Net have some details translated from an article on Half-Life 2 from German print PC Games magazine. The post offers hidden-text descriptions of the screenshots in the article, and word from Valve's Gabe Newell that they are planning to release the game in late summer, along with apologies for the September 30 fiasco, attributing the delay to bad scheduling, rather than the source code theft.

EA Games today released a new video clip for the upcoming release of The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth. The video is titled, "Inside the Battle: Unit Emotion" and the game producer goes in to detail about how emotions of creatures and humans help bring the game to life. For example, in traditional RTS's (Real-Time Strategy) if you direct your army to kill the enemy, they will do just that and nothing more. However, when you add "Emotion" to the army and creatures like in EA's Battle for Middle-Earth, your army will make a lot of noise and entice the enemy before attacking.
