Here's a great total conversion for Unreal Tournament! It's a single player MOD called Spatial Fear: Prologue.

This is a proud moment for the team. Spatial Fear: Prologue is finished and ready for download. This is our first game and we are extremely excited about it. Spatial Fear: Prologue is a Total Conversion for Unreal Tournament. In order to play SF:P, you will need a copy of UT, it's v436 patch, and of course, our setup.exe. Quake Tenebrae Version 1.03 Out

Tenebrae is a modification of the quake source that adds stencil shadows and per pixel lights to quake. Stencil shadows allow for realistic shadow effects on every object in the game world. Per pixel lighting allows you to have fine surface details correctly lit. These are essentially the same algorithms as used by the new Doom game.

Update: Just after a new Tenebrae comes an updated Testmap by Willi Hammes!

3Dgamers.com reports that after a false start yesterday, Activision now sends along the correct Win32 distribution for the public source code of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Gray Matter and Nerve's first-person shooter. As before, it allows mod authors to bring their creations (both single- and multi-player) in line with the new retail patch.
