There is a new patch for Black & White, upgrading Lionhead's 3D god-playing game to version 1.20. This release brings the promised multiplayer and clan support, with new winning conditions, a points ranking system, the clan support system and more, although the ranking system won't be activated until July 13.

Gas Powered Games have updated Dungeon Siege with a new beta patch (v1.09.2) and beta Siege Editor (v1.09.2.318).

A few weeks after the English patches, FASA Studios has now also released international patches for MechWarrior 4: Vengeance and its Black Knight expansion pack, likewise bringing the German, French and Spanish editions to version 3.0 and 1.0 respectively. Some video game players got a nasty surprise this week when they downloaded software from a popular online gaming site - the Nimda computer virus.

The installer for GameSpy Arcade 1.09, the main file exchange and gaming software of GameSpy.com, was infected with the Nimda virus twice this week, GameSpy Chief Executive Mark Surfas told Reuters. Now you know why I call them GAYSPY... Hehe

Bioware has released a new patch for Neverwinter Nights which updates the game to version 1.19. Bioware recommends that you update the game by selecting 'Update' from the Neverwinter Nights game launcher.
