A beautiful movie of the upcoming sequel to Far Cry, Crysis, was on display at GDC. There?s some really amazing technology on display here: dynamic day and night cycles, interactive palm fronds, volumetric fog and the best looking NPCs we?ve seen in a game this side of Half-Life 2.

Battlefield 2 1.21 Patch

Electronic Arts has issued new retail patches and servers for Battlefield 2, bringing the team-based 3D multiplayer action game by Digital Illusions to version 1.21. This update fixes issues with heat seeking missiles, claymores, the Battle Recorder, the screen capture, multiplayer and more, and as usual there are incremental (from v1.2) and full patches as well as Win32 and Linux servers.
