I've slapped up some benchmarks from Battlefield 2 demo, using our test system to go through a demo we made from our server. The Athlon64 3800+ and the Sapphire Radeon X800XL 512MB were used for testing. Expect more graphics benchmarks tomorrow.

GTA - San Andreas has hit the PC, and what a hit it is. We took our time to find out whether all the console fanboys' ravings were founded, and we discovered that for once, their joypad-addled minds were on the right track - this game rocks.

The Battlefield 2 demo is out and you're not sure if you should download all 560MB of it for just one map! Then again, Wake Island was just one map too and it was worth it. The wait is finally over for all us Battlefield 2 fans.

In Battlefield 2, players will choose to fight for one of three military superpowers: the United States, China, or the newly formed Middle East Coalition. Armed with the latest modern weaponry, players can take control of any of the game's 30+ vehicles to engage in major conflicts with over 100 players in some of the largest online battles on the PC.

After receiving several requests to create a multiplayer map suitable for benchmarking purposes, I set aside a full week to do exactly that and am pleased to announce that the results are finally ready for human consumption. After running some tests we've found that this map (and the benchmarking demo we've created to be used with it) will push most systems about twice as hard as the default single player demo, and thus offers a better example of what to expect from next generation DOOM 3 engine games such as Quake 4 and Prey.

The FPS/RTS hybrid, Savage, from S2Games, isn?t checking the CD Keys now, which can mean you can now play the game for free. The full version of the game can be downloaded directly from S2Games (257MB).
