Brothers in Arms: Road to Kill 30 Game Review

Published by Newsfactory 3

Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 is another World War II game, but it does not cover the whole war, which is what?s unique about it. Brothers in Arms, which is based on a true story, is about a team that was in World War II at the time; the entire game is based on their eight days in France. The life that the soldiers went through and their tactical deployment throughout the experience is truly attention grabbing. This obviously is the main point of the game. The game first introduces you with your team members after you?ve been knocked out from a grenade, and later proceeds to the actual combat and tactical alliance. Does it have what it takes to set itself apart from the rest of the WWII games? Read on and find out?

Far Cry AMD64 Edition - A First Look at 64-bit Gaming

Published by Newsfactory 0

For years, AMD has been talking about the positive impact that 64-bit will have on games. Honestly, we never bought it; games are still a couple of years away from breaking the 2GB process limitation under present day 32-bit Windows. Despite our lack of belief, AMD still did their best to convey the message that gamers would be given a better experience in a 64-bit environment.

Cold Fear Game Review

Published by Newsfactory 0

Cold Fear is a unique game that is featured exclusively on a ship. Now, some might think of this as boring due to the same depth of levels while others may like the concept due to its compact action sequence. Whatever the opinion, Cold Fear is a unique title for Xbox, but does it deliver? Cold Fear thrusts the players deeply into the game. It is a bit predictable, but the predictability in the game also helps out when you are lost by the confusing and similar looking surroundings from one level to another. Since the story is constructed on a ship, it gets a bit confusing throughout various levels. What else does the game have to offer? Read on and find out?

The Next Unreal Tournament

Published by Newsfactory 0

Thanks to Wunderchu in our forums for the heads up that 1UP have post the 4 page article from last month's Computer Gaming World Mag, which looks at Unreal Tournament 2007! Here's a snip.

I'm looking at a level from the next Unreal Tournament game, and it's not pretty. In a darkened conference room at Epic Games' North Carolina offices, lead designer Steve Polge, lead level designer Jim Brown, and producer Jeff Morris are walking me through a level that appears to be made of the equivalent of digital cement blocks -- and gently explaining to me why this is a good thing.
