Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory full installs & patches v2.60
id Software has released new patches and full installs for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory to advance the free team-based multiplayer first-person shooter by Splash Damage to version 2.60. There are patches for Win32 and Linux, an updated Linux full install as well as the first Mac OSX full install, and this release implements optimizations, server enhancements, demo recording/playing improvements, graphics tweaks, better mod support, and a huge number of bug fixes.
TrackMania Sunrise Demo
Nadeo has released a new playable demo for TrackMania Sunrise, now allowing everyone to take their track building and racing game sequel for a spin as it no longer requires a Trackmania CD-ROM. This demo contains two race tracks playable in single- and multiplayer, a pair of platform levels (one of which unfortunately incomplete), and two track-building challenges.
Chronicles of Riddick - Developer's Cut Demo
A few months after the full game, a playable demo of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay - Developer's Cut has now been released, allowing you to try out this acclaimed futuristic first-person action game by Starbreeze Studios. This demo contains a brief tutorial and one level titled The Mainframe from the full game.
Vietcong: Red Dawn Released
Earlier than planned the Red Dawn bonus add-on for Vietcong is now available (apparently with the developer's permission), expanding the jungle-based tactical first-person shooter by Pterodon. The add-on includes a new single-player mission titled Rice Fields, at least seven new multiplayer maps that offer coop as a VC guerrilla unit, and the series of previously released multiplayer maps.
