Ubi Soft Entertainment has released a playable demo of Alexander, allowing the chance to try out this imminent Cossacks-engine powered real-time strategy game by GSC Game World that's inspired by the Oliver Stone motion picture. This demo offers two single-player missions titled Taming Macedonia and Construction of Alexandria, along with three skirmish / multiplayer maps.

Digital Extremes have released the first official movie trailer for Pariah, revealing more of their sci-fi first-person shooter in development. The clip is available in two high-resolution sizes, and introduces the game's setting and combat in a minute of action-packed cinematic and gameplay footage.

GameConnect are reporting that Halo 2 will not include support for co-op mode on Xbox LIVE or LAN play. The co-op mode will remain for offline play only. they also have a nice halo 2 commercial in DivX and Quicktime formats.

Electronic Arts have released the eagerly anticipated playable demo for Need for Speed Underground 2, offering the first opportunity to try out the upcoming street racing simulation sequel by their Black Box studio. This hefty demo contains the Downhill drift and Circuits tracks available in Free Roam, Quick Race and Online modes, additional Free Roam content, and the Car Lot and Specialty Shop, all drivable in the Nissan 350Z.

After the release of the 1.3 patch for Far Cry yesterday, I've taken some time to get acquainted with the new features on offer, examining what they have to offer from both a performance and image quality standpoint.
