110 Halo 2 In-Game Screenshots

GameConnect received a (rar) file with lots of in-game Halo 2 footage. On the screenshots you can see several single-player levels played with both the Masterchief and the Elite. There are not only single-player screens, but also multiplayer screenshots. You can see ghosts, warthogs and bangee?s. You can see how someone gets a familiar ?Running Riot?, which is always a good thing if you?re the one getting it.

No Online/LAN Co-Op for Halo 2

GameConnect are reporting that Halo 2 will not include support for co-op mode on Xbox LIVE or LAN play. The co-op mode will remain for offline play only. they also have a nice halo 2 commercial in DivX and Quicktime formats.

Need for Speed: Underground 2 Demo

Electronic Arts have released the eagerly anticipated playable demo for Need for Speed Underground 2, offering the first opportunity to try out the upcoming street racing simulation sequel by their Black Box studio. This hefty demo contains the Downhill drift and Circuits tracks available in Free Roam, Quick Race and Online modes, additional Free Roam content, and the Car Lot and Specialty Shop, all drivable in the Nissan 350Z.

Q. Will the boxed versions of HL2 require any sort of Steam installations?

Doug Lombardi: During installation the user will be prompted to authenticate the copy and create a Steam account. After that is complete, the single-player and LAN games do not require an Internet connection.
