We've already talked a little about HyperMemory, but hopefully, this article will shed some more light on what exactly it is and how ATI implements it in the latest version of their driver. The addition of HyperMemory to all drivers is essentially an all-around good thing, although it will benefit some more than others. Ultimately, we'll tell you exactly who will be very pleased, or just mildly pleased (or indifferent) with the results. But first, let's talk a little bit about HyperMemory.

The NGO nVidia Optimized Driver is a tweaked version of the nVidia Forceware driver. The main purpose is to satisfy the users with a better performance and better image quality. The Driver has support for all Geforce cards.

We have just discovered new drivers on the nvidia FTP and so far we are getting excellent feedback on them with performance just as good if not better than the 77.76 drivers and better Image Quality. As of yet no bugs have been found, And they are WHQL Certified :)

After the release of Windows Vista Beta 1 (codenamed Longhorn) many users of the nVidia GeForce 6x00-series was met with the disappointing news that the only LDDM-certified drivers for nVidia cards support the FX-series, not the later generation. LDDM-certified drivers are necessary to experience the various effects in the new GUI. The Geforce 6x00 drivers that came with Windows Vista Beta 1 was not LDDM-certified, and the various special effects were disabled.

Realtek released version 3.75 driver for their ALC AC97 audio chipsets. The driver supports all ALC series audio chipsets from ALC100 up to ALC850 mainly used as onboard sound on various motherboards.
