That's right, as something of an exclusive for you lucky people we here at Elite Bastards have managed to get hold of nVidia's latest Detonator 52.16 driver set for Windows 2000 and XP, and as such they are now available for download.

NO, these are NOT the Catalyst 3.8 based drivers that I released on 10/08, this is an entire new version of the drivers (newer than the Cat 3.8), but they are NOT the Catalyst 3.9. I have updated the drivers to version 2.4.96a to fix some minor problems that where present in the original release, see the readme for details.

Neutral Catalyst are alternative drivers for ATI video cards. They are developed (like Omega drivers) with official Catalyst 3.8!

Nvidia have released a new set of Detonator drivers for their Personal Cinema GeForce FX products in Detonators WHQL 45.33 drivers and over at their certified Quadro driver page they have Detonator 45.28

Savagenews.com reports that VIA Tech has released new drivers for the internal AC97 sound in their chipsets i.e. south bridges VT686A, VT686B, VT8231, VT8233, VT8233A, VT8233C and VT8235. The version carries the 3.80a number and works on Windows 9x/ME/2K/XP.

Okay after two thousand downloads the past two hours combined with a decent amount of feedback no-one reported the fan issue. So it must be something on our end. Better safe than sorry though and thus check that fan for the time being.
