Yes we did it again, some more Nvidia drivers leaked for the Driverheaven board members, this time we have our hands on newer sets for both Windows 2000/XP and Windows 98/ME. I got hold of some older drivers last night, 31.80's to be exact. Since the latest set from 31.xx available to download prior to this was 31.50 - I guess this makes this driver "new". Click on Read More for more info and download.

Just got word from Station Drivers that they have found a new set of Compaq Nvidia Detonators 31.50 for Windows 2000/XP.

Intel officially released the new Application Accelerator 2.3 for Win98 and higher
The IAA replaces the IDE/UDMA driver and has some other performance enhancements
It's working on all i8xx chipsets except the mobile versions - use the older IAA version 2.2.2 for them

Following on from Degger's story from yesterday the AMD Athlon XP Processor driver update that is showing up on Microsoft Windows Update website but a few peeps had problems download it?

While surfin' the net I found some new sound drivers :
Realtek ALC AC97 Series (ALC1xx 2xx 650) driver/application A3.36 for Win9x/W2K/XP/NT and 1.50 for Linux. Cmedia 8738 driver 6.42 for Win98SE/ME/W2K/XP found at MSI homepage. Realtek ALC AC97 Series are mainly used as OnBoard audio on motherboards. CMedia 8738 is often used as OnBoard sound as well as stand-alone PCI soundcard. Read More for links.

This utility allows the operating system to correctly identify the Intel chipset components and properly configure the system. The Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility installs specific Windows INF files. The INF files inform the operating system how to properly configure the chipset for specific functionality, such as AGP, USB, Core PCI, and ISA PnP services.

Catalyst DirectX 9.0 BRC0 display drivers are to be used in conjuction with Microsoft's DirectX 9 Release Candidate (RC). This driver is currently a Beta Release Candidate (BRC) and is being provided to permit users to experience the most advanced graphics capabilities available. Please keep in mind that this driver is a Beta Release Candidate and may have outstanding bugs at present (Please refer to the errrata notes for known issues).

ATI does NOT recommend installing these drivers in systems used for mission critical operations or where productivity of any kind is a concern. There is a chance that using any Beta Release Candidate software may result in an unstable system.

After the recent nForce 2 only driver package from Asus, we have found a new unofficial yet WHQL'ed driver set for nForce 1 chipsets: nForce 220/230/415/420/430 for Windows 9x/Me & 2K/XP. These sets were made available by Leadtek. Compatibility with other manufacturer's boards is not yet verified.

Matrox released a new BETA driverset for G200/200MMS/400/450/450MMS/550 cards. Officially the set only is for 200MMS/450MMS but works with the other cards too. Driver Version is 5.87.037.0. No words on fixes yet. Read More ...
