The kX Audio Driver which is an independent WDM (Windows Driver Model) driver for all EMU10K1 and EMU10K2-based soundcards manufactured by Creative Technology Ltd. and/or E-mu Sytems Inc., including the SoundBlaster Live! series, the E-mu Audio Production Studio (APS) card, and the Audigy series of cards, has been updated.

The kX Audio Driver package includes driver system files and setup files as well as a powerful audio mixer application (the kX Mixer), which acts as a Graphical User Interface, providing access to many of the driver's internal functions.

"This is a Windows driver that will patch motherboards that have VIA chipsets.
It is intended to solve these problems:

Files copied from one IDE hard disk drive to another are corrupted.

The computer stops ("freezes", "hangs", "locks up") when playing sounds, especially to a Creative SoundBlaster LIVE! card

The computer stops when copying to or from an IDE DVD, CDROM, or CDRW drive Sounds played by a Creative Labs sound card are distorted.
NOTE: It does not apply any fixes to AMD chipsets, such as the 750 or 761 and any Intel Chipset.

Realtek have released new Drivers for the RTL8139(A/B/C/D/8130)/810X series Version 5.05 for windows 98/ME/ 2000/XP! Dated 2002/10/22.

X-bios Reports that MSI have released new beta drivers. these are availble for download using the MSI Live Updater.

There is no changes log so the fixes/features are unknown at present.

The CLE266 drivers for Win2K/XP and Win9x are MS WHQL certified
KL133/KLE133/PLE133/MVP4 drivers for Win9x/2K/XP/NT have no logo because MS wants to have 16MB for WHQL but some of these chipsets have only 8MB

Matrox released a new Apptimizer Game support tool enhancing many games for Parhelia and adding support for Sourround gaming. New in the support list are: UT 2003, Operation Flashpoint: Resistance and others.

Found at Asus Taiwan Site: new SiS 900 LAN 1.16 drivers - full 10MB package - containing setup and diagnosis software and drivers for Windows WfW3.11 Windows NT4 / 95 / 98 / ME and Windows 2K/XP Netware. Second driver is SiS 315 VGA / OnBoard SIS740/650/651 (based on SiS 315 Core) package 2.09b. Found new SIS chipset driver AGP 1.12.02 - latest official is 1.11 but 1.12 is floating around.
1.12.02 seems to have the same driver version but is of a slightly newer date according to the .INF files. Release notes say some fixes for AGP8x and K8 chipset. Official support for SIS 630 and newer but inofficial support for all AGP chipsets from 5591 on is included. Hit "Read More" for link and release notes.
