The kX Audio Driver which is an independent WDM (Windows Driver Model) driver for all EMU10K1 and EMU10K2-based soundcards manufactured by Creative Technology Ltd. and/or E-mu Sytems Inc., including the SoundBlaster Live! series, the E-mu Audio Production Studio (APS) card, and the Audigy series of cards, has been updated.
The kX Audio Driver package includes driver system files and setup files as well as a powerful audio mixer application (the kX Mixer), which acts as a Graphical User Interface, providing access to many of the driver's internal functions.
They have been posted on the intel site, bringing them to 4.04.1007. And the site says 10-7-02. I don't know the driver date as i am downloading them right now.

I found the Nvidia Detonator 31.40 whql drivers for Windows 9x/ME/2000/XP. Note that these are not supported by Nvidia. Rancho*: OHHH, where did you find them??? We got them since August 30th...

I have found some new ATI drivers for the Radeon which are available from the ATI website. These are version 6.13.10.6178 and available for all Windows versions. No words on fixes yet available

Well...after a little while evaluating the files, I have finally put together a working driver set for the entire Radeon line using the 7.77 core driver files. I have installed this set on my XP rig and it works great!
As reported by us Nvidia has released their promised driver update going up from 40.41 to 40.71. Nvidia still is waiting for WHQL certification on the 40.xx series and we believe that any updates from 40.41 will rather be bugfix releases than anything else. This has already been proved by full functionality in Unreal Tournament 2003 demo. After the release we took 40.71 for a small ride...
Rumours were true. Nvidia just released Detonator 40.71 for Windows. However these drivers are still in beta stage. Windows 2000/XP is a 14.8 MB download, while 9x/ME hits in with 12.2 MB. No new release notes are given. Read more...
