Dell has released a new ATI driver 6.13.10.6194 for their SmartStep notebook series powered by the Radeon Mobility 9000 GPU. Some brains will probably tamper with the .ini to make this driver suitable for other Radeon cards. Toshiba has released a new Nvidia Detonator driver 36.39 for their Satellite notebook series. This is a previously unknown version combination so it might be interesting to see how it performs. Asus has released a new WHQL certified SiS IDE driver v2.01C. And finally there is SiS' AGP driver v1.12 which was mentioned before for download.

SiS today officially released Chipset drivers AGP 1.11 on their website:

Seems to be the first driver to support AGP8x transfer rate for SIS chipsets. Works with all SiS chipsets from 630 and higher and might work with all previous SiS AGP chipsets . There is a newer AGP 1.12 floating around but seems to be more beta.

SIS released new Xabre performance drivers 3.06.55. They should work on SIS 315 based cards and the integrated SIS740/650/651 too. (SIS 740/650/651 integrated are based on SIS315 GPU kernel). Read more...

The Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility was developed for updating Windows* Operating Systems with the Plug and Play feature on Intel chipsets.

The Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility installs specific Windows INF files. The INF files inform the operating system how to properly configure the chipset for specific functionality, such as AGP, USB, Core PCI, and ISA PnP services.

They have been posted on the intel site, bringing them to 4.04.1007. And the site says 10-7-02. I don't know the driver date as i am downloading them right now.

Just found new Xabre performance drivers @ Xabregamers.

The driver supports of course Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows 98 SE. As usual, this driver also works with cards based on SiS 315.

And again the Nvidia Corp. released new drivers for their series of cards. Today it's version 40.72 for Win2K / XP and 9x, again they are beta. Read More to get the mirrors.

I found the Nvidia Detonator 31.40 whql drivers for Windows 9x/ME/2000/XP. Note that these are not supported by Nvidia. Rancho*: OHHH, where did you find them??? We got them since August 30th...

This is the latest Nero driver (for Windows NT/2000/XP) please copy this file in the Nero folder. This new version solves the problem in not finding any CD-drive after the installation of Virtual CD.

Savagenews.com reports that xglider over at Xabre Gamers has informed them that he has posted a new version of SiS' AGP drivers which is the newest available, but still not posted @ SiS' website i.e. unofficial and might be a beta.
