First up, Zatz Not Funny has updated their TiVo To Go guide with a guide to put .tivo files on a PSP. Short version: strip the DRM, convert it to MPEG4 and stuff it on a memory stick.

Nintendo's Revolution-ary Controller?

The latest issue of Game Informer sheds a few clues on how the Revolution will not use the traditional buttons, as suggested by President Iwata. The controller will ditch convention and focus on touch screen technology. The argument for would be that it now puts the entire control scheme into the hands of the developers, allowing them to create the method of interaction. However, gamers lose tactile feedback. Truth or an April Fool's joke?

The CELL Revisited @ Ars Technica

This new article contains more technical details, some of which were disclosed in a recent presentation at the Eleventh International Symposium on High-Performance Computer Architecture. There are clarifications and new details about CELL's XDR Rambus-designed memory interface, its future use in rackmount servers, and other aspects of the design.
