*L* I use a completely-clean plain black desktop with my shortcuts in the quick-launch bar. No icons to render/dispaly and no clutter to get confused with at 1600x1200@85hz...

my partitions are 14 Gig, because these are shared partitions from my W2K-Server... Actually just folders, put in as "Network Drives".
