Ive been looking for reviews for Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty cards
I'm also interested in upgrading to the X-Fi Platinum and would like others to let me know of any reviews. I have asked for reviews on the X-Fi Platinum over at the Creative x-fi forums http://www.productionforums.com/index.php?f=70
From what I have read so far I really think this card would be worth a try but would love to hear reviews from other owners

I own the Fatal1ty version and it's awesome. I'd recommend either this one or the Platinum for the front drive- very convenient. If you are a gamer and use headphones- it's simply unbelievable. Too many features to talk about, but I don't think you'd be sorry.

I also have the Fatal1ty version and it's great !!!
It's the best gaming sound card you can buy but it cost a little high
Excellent performance-Very good sound quality
If you are for games these is the best gaming sound card and the XRam will be usefull for some of the 2006 upcoming games

of course it lacks the XRAM memory unfortunately but i guess you will not miss it so much
