Sun Microsystems announced that the beta program, which began on October 2, 2001, has been quite successful. During the past two plus months, customers have had the opportunity to download and preview StarOffice/StarSuite 6.0 Beta software. As of December 31 the StarOffice 6.0 Beta software will no longer be available for download. Valuable feedback from Beta Customers has been received, much of which has been incorporated into the product, improving the quality and enhancing the features of the product. Beta customers are welcome to continue using the Beta software and providing feedback. It is anticipated that the final 6.0 versions of StarOffice software will be released during the first half of 2002.
