Ocing a Dual CPU Part 2 @ Extremesystems

This part of the guide deals with the another aspect of OCing, or should I say the Sport behind OCing. thus, I'm not stating/declaring that the speeds achieved are 100% stable for my taste. (which I believe should be the same for most OCers) To remind you, for me, a certain OC is Stable if & only if the system can complete an error-free 24 hours of Prime95's (or SP2004) LARGE FFT's, and in this case an since the CPU is a Dually, 2 instances of Prime95 (SP2004) is a MUST! Plus it must complete any other benchmark you choose, including games.

The Way to 3.0GHz on Water: This part is a more time-consuming than the 1st one, since we are talking about a delicate situation. Making the system complete certain benchmarks (heavy ones) while running a 150% OC without any advanced Phase-Change Cooling, is not a easy task!! And if you ask why H2O?, simply because I'm working on building a Phase-Change based cooling system, more advanced than the traditional Single Stage, but unfortunately I don't have both the time & the money for completing it at the moment. And by making others aware of the potential of the current hardware you have available & most probabely will continue to have until the new AMD AM2 (or M2) Technology matures enough... until then, the hardware will be Maxed to it's upper limits, & I promise!
