Just got word from AC @ Nvmax.com that he's posted details of what's new in Detonator 43.45 and had a chat with a Nvidia spokesperson...
The driver includes new optimisations for the 3DMark 2003 performance tool, disregarding FutureMarks call for no such optimisations to be included. With the new driver some tests perform up to 300% better than previous drivers.
