Microsoft gets ready for January 10, 2012 patches

Microsoft has released some details about the patch expected on Tuesday, January 10th 2012.


Currently they are showing one “Critical” update and six “Important” updates. Six of these are for Windows and one is for Microsoft Developer Tools and Software. The six updates cover all versions and service packs of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2 and of course Windows 7.

Also expected are the usual monthly updates that you always see including Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, non-security releases, updated junk mail filters and most likely new Microsoft Security Releases ISO Images.
